Flores goes 4-for-4, Zafiros Blanco Move to 18-8

Azua played host to Bani at Zafiros Blanco Ballpark.
The Azua Zafiros Blanco downed the Bani Depredadores del Peravia, 4-1. The hitting star was third baseman Ramón Flores. Flores went 4-4 with a home run and 3 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Zafiros Blanco. Ramón Manuel recorded the save, his 1st.
Flores contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for Azua in the bottom of the second. With his team trailing 1-0, Flores took a slider from António Peña and stroked the home run to right. His 1st home run of the season allowed the Zafiros Blanco to leap in front, 2-1.
"We're all about heart and hustle on this team. That's what wins ballgames," Flores told the Azua Daily News.
The Zafiros Blanco, now 18-8, know that wins in October count the same as wins in September.
