Aguadilla Roadrunners starter Manuel Piñal turned in a top-notch performance against the Toa Baja Gringos at Ballpark of Aguadilla. The result was a win for the Roadrunners, 5-1. The win hiked the Aguadilla record to 10-7.

The game could have flipped with one out in the top of the seventh. But Manuel Piñal made what his manager later called "an A-plus pitch." With runners on 1st and 3rd and Toa Baja trailing 3-0, Piñal threw a fastball to Carlos Mejía and Mejía struck out.
