In a close game at Big Daddies Ballpark, the Pittsburgh Cathedrals edged the Indiana Big Daddies, 5-4. Pittsburgh shortstop Doug Howard stood apart with his performance. He was 2-4 with a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The victory makes Pittsburgh 17-38.

Howard contributed a big hit, a bases-clearing double, for Pittsburgh in the top of the fourth. With his team trailing 3-1, Howard took a fastball from Michael Collier and stroked the double to left-center. His 9th double of the season allowed the Cathedrals to leap in front, 4-3.

"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Howard.
