Hernández Takes Chainsaw to Crystal Lake Bats in 5-0 Win
|
The Kalamazoo Badgers defeated the Crystal Lake Sandgnats, 5-0, in Sovereign League action at Ellison Field at Dole Park. Kalamazoo pitcher Martín Hernández had a standout performance. The second-place Badgers go to 37-32.
Crystal Lake could barely put a dent in Hernández. The right-hander tossed 120 pitches over 8 innings for the Badgers, allowing only 3 hits.
"The hot tub feels extra good after a solid win," said Hernández.
