Behind a fine performance from Peter Calhoun, the West Lauderdale HS Knights knocked off the Union City HS Hillers, 8-1. Calhoun slugged 2 home runs. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2 for the Knights. Don Stewart, the winner, improved to 2-1. He held Union City HS to 1 run on 3 hits over 6.2 innings, while racking up 6 strikeouts. The Knights raised their record to 16-8.
