Borealis Snatch 4-3 Win
|
Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Aurora Borealis and Palm Springs Codgers.
Palm Springs catcher Claudio Pérez had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Pérez went 2 for 2 with 2 home runs and 2 walks, even as Aurora beat the Codgers, 4-3. Palm Springs drops to 3-3.
Lan-quing Qing, the 27-year old catcher , had a direct impact on the outcome. Qing contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the fifth inning to put Aurora up, 4-1.
"I like our mindset right now," said Aurora manager Michel Provost.
