Bureaucrats Take Down Hitmen, 4-2
|
The Arlington Bureaucrats got a stellar effort from pitcher James McCoy, helping Arlington score a win over the visiting New Jersey Hitmen, 4-2. Blaine Julien was called on to finish, recording his 18th save. At 26-53, the Bureaucrats claim last place in the Imperial League Seaboard.
Arlington third baseman Logan Malone contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With two down, he hit a fastball into center field for a 2-run single. It was his 64th hit of the season and put the Bureaucrats ahead, 4-2.
"I thought we played a nice game," Malone told the Arlington Herald. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
