Loreto, Lakota Too Much for Emancipation
|
The performance of Danilo Loreto proved critical in helping Sioux Falls beat Lincoln, 5-3. The Lakota left fielder slugged 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Rodrigo Oracio finished to wrap up his 1st save. Sioux Falls improves to 42-26 with the win. They lead their division by 5 games.
Loreto had a timely hit for Sioux Falls in the bottom of the seventh. With Lincoln trailing 3-2, he turned a first pitch slider into a 3-run home run. It was his 4th home run of the season, making it 5-3, Sioux Falls.
"The most important thing is that we won," Loreto said.
