Rafters Deal Waxers 3-1 Defeat
|
Grand Rapids pitcher Noboru Imai did his part in helping his team beat the Chandler Waxers, 3-1. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. The second-place Rafters now have a 4-game winning streak.
Andrew Lyle, who is rated as the 99th best prospect by BNN, aided the Grand Rapids cause with a run-scoring double in the top of the sixth. For the game, the right fielder went 2 for 4 with 2 doubles.
"We'll savor this win," Imai told the Grand Rapids Herald, "then get ready for the next game."
