Millar drives in 6 runs, Ignites Lincoln Offense
A good performance from center fielder Tommy Millar helped the Lincoln Emancipation defeat the Namuko Puckmen, 7-4. Millar was 2 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 6 runs and scored once for the Emancipation. Lincoln pitcher Gary Ross got the win. He's now 2-4. Ralph Coolen was tagged with the loss. Their 22-58 record puts the Emancipation last in the Rocky Mountain League North.

With Lincoln leading 1-0 in the top of the fifth, Millar hit a fastball from Ralph Coolen for a grand slam home run. It was his 8th home run of the season and put the Emancipation ahead, 5-0.

"Winning is hard sometimes," said Emancipation manager Frank Adams. "This one was nice to get."
