Getting a good performance from catcher António Vélez, the Brampton Camels defeated the Sherwood Park Hoods, 11-3. Vélez was 2 for 4 with 2 doubles, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once for the Camels. Brampton reliever Tony Silva picked up the win, while Misagenes Mugema took the loss for Sherwood Park. "I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Vélez. "And not try to do too much."
