The Kuwana Steel Dragons bested the Taipei Wardens, 7-1, at Taipei Tianmu Baseball Stadium. Luis Rodríguez was one of the standouts. He went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 6 runs and scored twice. Kuwana pitcher Robby Parker got the win. He's now 7-3. Carlos Díaz was tagged with the loss. The second-place Steel Dragons are 31-25.

With Kuwana leading 3-0 in the top of the eighth, Rodríguez hit a cutter from Ralph Alonzo for a grand slam home run. It was his 5th home run of the season and put the Steel Dragons ahead, 7-0.

"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Rodríguez said after the game.
