Taylor Delivers Walk-Off Win for Bears
|
In a low-scoring tilt between the Bakersfield Bears and the Crystal Lake Sandgnats, Oliver Flores was the difference-maker. The Bakersfield right-hander spearheaded the 3-2 win. With the win over Crystal Lake, the Bears improved to 33-50.
The Bears were down to their final out when first baseman Corbin Taylor turned a 1-2 curveball from Alejandro Rojas into a 2-run single. The walk-off single made the The Oaks at Aera Field crowd go wild.
"It's a thrill to get that kind of win," Flores said.
