The Taipei Wardens did just enough to secure a victory over the Edo Battousai, 3-2, at Taipei Tianmu Baseball Stadium. Nobody did more than pitcher Manuel Barrios. Taipei pitcher Ralph Alonzo got the win, upping his record to 3-2. Hong-yeol Chong got the loss. Taipei is now 41-63, Edo 66-38.

In the bottom of the ninth, with no one out and the game tied, 2-2, pinch hitter Bob Little won it for Taipei. With runners on 2nd and 3rd, Little hit a 1-1 forkball from Hong-yeol Chong for a run-scoring single, giving his team the 3-2 win.

"Sometimes a win comes easy," Little told the Taipei Chronicle. "And sometimes you have to scratch and claw."
