Armando Batista never let the Dinosaurs get in a groove. The left-hander used his bread and butter, his changeup, to pitch the Borealis to a win, 2-0. Héctor Gutiérrez notched his 31st save in 37 chances. The 4th-place Dinosaurs have dropped 4 straight games.

Aurora catcher Pedro de la Cruz contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the fifth. With two down, he hit a circle change into left field for a run-scoring single. It was his 32nd hit of the season and put the Borealis ahead, 1-0.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said de la Cruz.
