Soutar Impressive in San Juan Win
|
The San Juan Coqui racked up a win at The Castle, bumping off the Scottish Claymores, 3-1. Rory Soutar, who started for San Juan, pitched effectively for his team. The 5th-place Coqui lifted their record to 67-77.
Soutar imposed his will on the Claymores, scattering 2 hits over 8 innings while striking out 13. The right-hander upped his season record to 16-10.
"I tried to mix it up, keep them off balance," said Soutar.
