In a low-scoring tilt between the Suwon Morning Swords and the Daegu Dragons, Dan Elmore was the difference-maker. The Suwon left-hander spearheaded the 2-1 win. The Morning Swords now have a mark of 30-13.
In the bottom of the sixth, Suwon shortstop Carlos Montáñez gave his team the lead. With one out and a runner on 1st, Mr. Reliable hit his 1st home run of the year. Daegu pitcher Jorge López surrendered it. With that, the Morning Swords jumped in front, 2-1.
"We scored one run," said Daegu manager Armando Tapia. "You're not gonna get a lot of Ws scoring just one run."
