Daegu took on Gohueng in front of a lively crowd.

The Daegu Dragons topped the Gohueng Gom, 8-7, with youngster José Ramírez playing a key role. Ramírez hit 3 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring three times for the Dragons in the win. The Dragons go to 19-29, putting them 6th in the Intercontinental Baseball Coalition Hanguk League.

Ramírez had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the eighth. On a 2-1 fastball from Samuel Trotman, he banged a solo home run to left, giving the Dragons a 7-6 lead. It was the 11th home run of the year for Ramírez.

"Winning is not something we take for granted," Ramírez said.
