Gorillas Suffer 3-2 Setback
The Daegu Dragons did just enough to secure a victory over the Gimpo Gorillas, 3-2, at The Cage. Nobody did more than pitcher Lee Rodgers. In 5.1 innings, Rodgers surrendered 4 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 0. He allowed 1 run. The 5th-place Dragons sport a record of 26-32.

In the top of the first, José Ramírez ambushed a 1-0 fastball from Jung-ook Ch'u and hit a 2-run home run. It gave Daegu a quick 2-0 lead.

"Both teams played hard," said Daegu manager Armando Tapia.
