In a low-scoring contest, Daegu pitcher Fraser MacGeechan was marvelous in his team's 2-1 win. Daegu, now 31-41, holds down 5th place in the Intercontinental Baseball Coalition Hanguk League.
The Dragons procured the win, in large part because of shortstop Don Hill. In the bottom of the 11th, he produced the game-winning run-scoring single.
"What a great win for our team," said a jubilant Armando Tapia, the Daegu manager.
