The Arlington Bureaucrats and London Underground completed their game despite the rain.

Arlington picked up a win at Pearson Metropolitan Park, toppling the London Underground, 4-0. Pitcher Mark Stanford was one of the reasons the Bureaucrats triumphed. Stanford, now 1-0, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 3, walking 1, and allowing no runs.

The Bureaucrats got an important contribution from right fielder Gabriel Rodríguez, who in the top of the sixth knocked a first pitch fastball into left for a 2-run home run. It was his 5th home run of the season and put the Bureaucrats ahead, 3-0.

"We'll kick back tonight and enjoy this win," said Rodríguez.

The Bureaucrats now have a record of 31-63.
