Shamans Topple Administrators, 5-1

Behind the hitting of Johan Blees, the Jeonju Shamans stopped the Sejong Administrators, 5-1. Blees went 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 runs for the Shamans. Xiao-mei Yuan, 2-0, earned the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 5 hits in 4 innings. Rod Rodgers closed it out for his 3rd save.
Xavier Martínez drew 3 walk for Jeonju. The 20-year old right fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the second. With two out and the bases loaded, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring walk off Armando Viña. It was his 41st walk of the season.
"In baseball, you have your ups and downs," said Sejong manager Ralph McCabe. "You just try to stay level-headed the whole time."
The Shamans are now 40-49, while the Administrators fall to 41-48.
