The Muju Naturalists picked up a win at Bandi Land Ballpark, knocking off the Gimpo Gorillas, 2-0. On the mound for Muju was right-hander Sekien Sai, who played a pivotal role in the win. With the win, Muju has a record of 53-36. Gimpo falls to 37-52.
Sai, a native of Yokohama, Japan, was dealing all game. He kept Gimpo hitters off-balance, while giving the Naturalists 6.1 quality innings. Sai threw 85 pitches, allowing 2 hits and striking out 10.
"I had pretty good command out there," said Sai.
