Devils Pick Up 3-2 Win Over Brisbane
|
The Hobart Devils picked up a win at The Ship Yard, knocking off the Brisbane Stevedores, 3-2. On the mound for Hobart was left-hander Paul Baldwin, who played a pivotal role in the win. Jaap Groenevelt recorded the save, his 1st. The victory makes Hobart 2-3.
Eduardo Colomo, the 19-year old third baseman , had a direct impact on the outcome. Colomo contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the second inning to put Hobart up, 1-0.
"I've been criticized for being a slacker, but the one thing I do care about is winning," Baldwin told the Hobart Gazette.
