Stevedores Deal Aces BC 6-1 Setback
The Brisbane Stevedores picked up a win at The Ship Yard, knocking off the Auckland Aces BC, 6-1. Starting pitcher Yoo-ngan Chen was a big reason why. The winning pitcher was Chen, now 3-3. He tossed 7.1 innings of 2-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 6. With the win, Brisbane goes to 22-23, while the Aces BC fall to 23-22.

Walter O'Mullan had a big hit for Brisbane in the bottom of the third inning. With Brisbane leading 4-1, O'Mullan hit a 2-run double. It was his 2nd double of the season and put the Stevedores up, 6-1.

O'Mullan said afterward that he was glad to contribute to the win.
