The Auckland Aces BC reigned over the North Sydney Kookaburras in damp conditions.

The Auckland Aces BC downed the North Sydney Kookaburras, 9-3. The hitting star was right fielder Alonso Sáenz. Sáenz was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3 for the Aces BC. Reginald Keitel got credit for the win, improving to 3-2. He allowed 2 runs on 4 hits in 1.2 innings. Lorenzo Rodríguez sewed up the save, his 2nd.

The Aces BC got a big at-bat from catcher Darren de Greef. For the game, de Greef went 1 for 3 with a double and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. In the bottom of the sixth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a bases-clearing double. His 5th double of the season gave Auckland a 4-1 lead.
