The Kentucky Thoroughbreds withstood an impressive performance by Scottish second baseman Jackson Wiley to defeat the Claymores, 6-3, at The Castle. Wiley went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Roberto Rivera picked up the win, improving his season record to 5-5. He struck out 9 in 8 innings. The second-place Thoroughbreds are 53-43.
