Magnaldi, Tycoons Too Much for Modernists
Tagliero Stadium was the site for Intercontinental Baseball Coalition action featuring the Asmara Modernists and Port Sudan Tycoons.

The Port Sudan Tycoons knocked off the Asmara Modernists, 13-5, at Tagliero Stadium. Isacco Magnaldi was a big reason Port Sudan won. The left fielder hit 2 home runs, while scoring 3 times and driving in 6. Abel Castellanos was the winning pitcher. Over 6 innings, he allowed 1 run on 5 hits, with 2 walks and 3 strikeouts.

With Port Sudan leading 1-0 in the top of the fourth, Magnaldi hit a curveball from Carlos Navarro for a grand slam home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Tycoons ahead, 5-0.

"We'll pop the top on a cold beverage and get back to work tomorrow," Magnaldi said.

The Tycoons raised their record to 12-8.
