The Khartoum Raiders had no problem beating the Addis Ababa Rifters, 18-3, at The Rift. Bailey Clow led the way. He slugged 3 home runs, while scoring 4 and driving in 5 for Khartoum. Yi-mou Ju, the winner, improved to 5-2. He held Addis Ababa to 3 runs on 4 hits over 6.1 innings, while racking up 6 strikeouts. With the win, Khartoum pushed its record to 47-43.

Khartoum relied on the hitting of Takashi Iitsuka to pick up the win. The center fielder clubbed a 2-run single in the top of the third inning to put the Raiders on top, 2-0. For the game, Iitsuka had 1 home run and 2 singles in 6 at-bats.
