Aruba Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
Brad Saunders had a good game, but he could not keep the Puerto Plata Pacos from falling, 7-6, to the Aruba Wahoos at The Fish Bowl. The Puerto Plata designated hitter was 2 for 5 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3 in the loss. The win belongs to Júlio Cintrón in relief. His record improves to 2-1. Mario Beyeman took the loss for Puerto Plata. The Pacos fall to 7-11 and continue their lackluster start in 2039.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 13th inning, when Aruba first baseman Enrique Mejía, facing Mario Beyeman, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Wahoos the 7-6 win.

"Big win," said Mejía.
