Escobar Shines in 6-5 Bridgetown Win
The Bridgetown Flying Fish beat the Puerto Plata Pacos by a score of 6-5. Bridgetown catcher Paco Escobar deserved the lion's share of the credit. Escobar went 2-3 with 2 home runs and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice for the Flying Fish. The first-place Flying Fish improved to 20-8.

Escobar had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the sixth. On a first pitch fastball from Rintaro Ine, he banged a 2-run home run to left, giving the Flying Fish a 5-4 lead. It was the 2nd home run of the year for Escobar.

"I still think this team can play even better," Escobar told the Bridgetown Daily.
