Flying Fish Earn 2-1 Win Versus Mystique
|
The Bridgetown Flying Fish got a strong performance from pitcher Francisco Díaz, who stymied the Montserrat offense en route to a win, 2-1, at Soufriere Hills Park. The Flying Fish improved to a lofty 25-8.
Bridgetown got the win thanks to a clutch hit from Declan Trebilcock. The designated hitter stroked a 2-run double in the top of the eighth inning to put the Flying Fish ahead, 2-1. Though it was his only hit in 1 at-bat, it had a major impact on the outcome.
"I had everything working," said Díaz.
