Bridgetown got a decent performance from pitcher Louis Blenkinson, but it wasn't enough to beat the Punta Cana Mamajuanas. Punta Cana won the Safeway Grounds contest, 4-3. Blenkinson threw 5.0 innings of 4-hit ball for the losing team. Punta Cana is now 18-23, while Bridgetown is 31-10.

Katsumoto Ito was the walk-off hero for Punta Cana. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Mamajuanas center fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring double to send the teams home.

Ito expressed little emotion after the game. "Every game we win now," he said, "is one less win we'll need to get in the end."
