Mamajuanas Rally For 2-1 Win
The Punta Cana Mamajuanas and Port Royal Privateers put on a pitchers' duel.

Port Royal wasted an exceptional performance by pitcher Leo Brisbourne, falling to the Punta Cana Mamajuanas, 2-1. Brisbourne threw 7.0 innings of 3-hit ball for the losing team. Pedro Strickland collected his 9th save.

Punta Cana used a clutch hit from Manuel Matos to get the win. The designated hitter drilled a solo home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Mamajuanas ahead, 2-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a doozy.

"As well as we've been playing, I think we can play even better," said Punta Cana manager Koto Hayashi.

Punta Cana has a 6-game win streak, while Port Royal has lost 5 in a row.
