Seoul Topples Hamilton, 5-1
|
The Seoul Crushers picked up a win at Crushatorium, knocking off the Hamilton Industrialists, 5-1. Starting pitcher Lou Butler was a big reason why. Butler, now 10-9, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 6, walking 1, and allowing 1 run. The Crushers are now 63-44, while the Industrialists fall to 64-43.
Mike Ferguson contributed to the Seoul win with a solo home run in the bottom of the third. For the game, the third baseman had 2 hits in 3 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 2 runs scored, and 1 run batted in.
"We did a lot of things right," said Ferguson.
