Oscar Simons impressed in the 8-1 Ikari win over Lodoss. Simons, who leads the PCAL in total bases with 239, hit 3 home runs, while adding 6 RBI and scoring three times. Roberto Toledo, who went 6.1 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 1 run on 3 hits, while walking 5 and striking out 8. His record now stands at 5-5. Yodo Nakayama earned save number 3 this season.
In the bottom of the first, Simons had one of his most important at-bats: a 2-run home run off Robert Egan that staked the Warriors to a 2-0 lead.
"Whenever we hold the other team to one run," said Warriors manager Peter Gore, "I like our chances."
