Clutch Hitting Delivers Win for Crushers
Dermot Elsmore impressed in the 9-2 Seoul win over Edmonton. Elsmore, who is tied for 7th in the PCAL with a .387 on-base percentage, was 1 for 2 with a double and 3 walks, while scoring 2 and driving in 3. Seoul raised its record to 70-45 with the win.

Both teams had trouble manufacturing runs. So, Ewan Carne's at-bat in the top of the eighth was critical. With no one out, the Seoul pinch hitter hit a run-scoring single, to give his team a 3-2 lead.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," Carne said.
