Bridgetown Topples Montserrat, 7-2

The Montserrat Mystique went down to defeat to Ryosei Shiroi and his Bridgetown teammates. The final score was 7-2 in favor of the Flying Fish. Bridgetown has now won 4 straight, while the Mystique have lost 15 in a row.
With runs few and far between, the Flying Fish had to seize their opportunities when they came. One of the most important chances for Bridgetown came in the bottom of the third inning, when right fielder Toby Clark delivered a 2-run home run. The home run was hit off Eduardo Montoya and made the score 2-0, Flying Fish. Clark was 1-4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.
"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said Bridgetown manager Norio Heida.
