In a low-scoring tilt between the Montserrat Mystique and the Port Royal Privateers, Jonathan Mason was the difference-maker. The Montserrat left-hander spearheaded the 1-0 win. After today's action, Montserrat sits at 19-39, while Port Royal falls to 23-35.
A critical at-bat came in the bottom of the eighth inning when the Mystique sent 21-year-old third baseman Frank Trembath to the plate with the bases loaded. The youngster shook off the pressure and drew a walk, driving in 1 run, to put Montserrat on top, 1-0.
