Espinosa, Mamajuanas Beat Mystique, 3-1

A good performance from third baseman Javier Espinosa helped the Punta Cana Mamajuanas defeat the Montserrat Mystique, 3-1. Espinosa went 4-4 with a home run, 3 singles, and was hit by a pitch. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the Mamajuanas. Spencer Garbutt, the winner, improved to 1-1. He held the Mystique to 1 run on 3 hits over 6 innings, while striking out 2 and walking 1. The 4th-place Mamajuanas now have a win-loss record of 31-35.
Punta Cana took a 3-0 lead on Espinosa's 2nd home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which he hit off Zach Fernández in the top of the seventh, propelled Punta Cana to the win.
