The Gatineau Balloonists eked out a 3-2 win versus the Medicine Hat Drillers at Ballonists Ballpark. Nobody did more than pitcher Spencer Williams. He was terrific. Gatineau has won 4 straight games.

Gatineau took a 3-2 lead on Alfonso Gonzáles's 9th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Gonzáles hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Medicine Hat pitcher Randall Green visibly frustrated.

"That's baseball," said Medicine Hat manager Michael Burton. "Sometimes the other team plays better than yours."
