A 4-RBI performance from the 22-year old catcher Yoshitora Mori helped the Seoul Crushers beat the Brampton Camels, 7-5. Pedro Torres, the winning pitcher, improved to 16-8. He pitched 5.2 innings, giving up 12 hits and 5 runs, while striking out 2 and walking 2. The save went to Tsurayuki Harada, number 5 for him.

Mori contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Seoul in the bottom of the second. With his team trailing 2-0, Mori took a forkball from Pasquale Richelmi and stroked the home run to right-center. His 5th home run of the season allowed the Crushers to leap in front, 3-2.

Mori said afterward that his team has grown over the course of the season, adding: "It feels good when a plan comes together."

The losses continue to mount for Brampton, which has now dropped 6 in a row.
