Codgers Suffer 5-3 Setback
|
Aurora pitcher Henry Cluett did his part in helping his team beat the Palm Springs Codgers, 5-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. With the win, Aurora has a record of 60-55. Palm Springs falls to 56-59.
Aurora first baseman Raúl Muñóz contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With two down, he hit a circle change into center field for a run-scoring single. It was his 118th hit of the season and put the Borealis ahead, 2-1.
"Henry was pounding the zone," said Aurora manager Michel Provost.
