Mamajuanas Bats Go Cold Against Pacos
|
Conditions were not ideal but Puerto Plata and Punta Cana were able to put their game in the books.
Puerto Plata Pacos starter Rintaro Ine was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Punta Cana Mamajuanas, 4-0. Mario Beyeman got the save, the 2nd for him this season.
Ine went 7.1 innings, allowing no runs on 2 hits. The Puerto Plata right-hander, now 5-5, has an ERA of 0.49 this season.
Ine told a Puerto Plata Chronicle reporter that he was "gratified" with the win.
With the win, the Pacos have a record of 30-43.
