The London Underground bested the Scottish Claymores by a score of 5-2, with shortstop Bill Jones getting the main credit. On the day, Jones went 2 for 3 with 2 doubles and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Underground. With the win, London upped its record to 72-48.

London took a 5-2 lead on Jones's 19th double of the season. The 2-run double, which he hit off Kyle Colquhoun in the top of the eighth, propelled London to the win.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Jones. "And not try to do too much."
