|
Pitcher León Pérez was sensational for the Ensenada Cenicienta del Pacifico in his team's 6-0 triumph over the Salton Sea Kilmers. Pérez picked up the win, and it was well-earned. Pérez went 6 innings to notch the win. He scattered 3 hits, walked 1, and struck out 6. His record improves to 6-6. Ensenada is now 63-58.
Gabriel Santos dealt the Kilmers a blow in the bottom of the second. Batting with the bases loaded and Ensenada leading 3-0, Santos, who leads the BCL in stolen bases with 65, hit a first pitch changeup for a 2-run single.
"We'll enjoy this win for now, but it's just one," Santos told local reporters. "We've got to keep it going."
