Suzuki Shines in 10-6 Marduk Win
The Marduk Nerv defeated the Tijuana Saguaros, 10-6, at Target Field. Marduk left fielder Tekkan Suzuki had a superb performance. He hit 3 home runs, while adding 6 RBI and scoring three times. The last-place Saguaros have lost 4 straight games.

Marduk used a clutch hit from John Newsome to get the win. The pinch hitter drilled a 3-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Nerv ahead, 7-5. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a doozy.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Newsome. "And not try to do too much."
