Houston Win Knots Series at 3
The Houston Shastas and the Penn State Pride will take the Regionals to a decisive 7th game. In a must-win situation today, the Shastas beat the Pride 4-1 at Penn State Grounds to force the series into what will essentially be a one-game playoff. Houston right-hander Lance Simmons had a big role in the win. He threw 6.1 innings of 3-hit ball.

Houston relied on the hitting of Flynn Goodman to pick up the win. The first baseman clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Shastas on top, 2-0. For the game, Goodman had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"I got everyone together and told them they did great today," Houston manager Yosuke Nakagawa told BNN reporters after the game. "But I warned them that even if we make it out of the Regionals, it's only going to get harder."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Penn State Grounds in State College.
