Gabriel Gutiérrez was locked and loaded, helping the Port Royal Privateers beat the Punta Cana Mamajuanas, 4-0. Aaron Gamble recorded his 12th save for Port Royal. Port Royal currently is in last place in the Intercontinental Baseball Coalition Paradise League at 32-56.

The Mamajuanas had been locked in a 0-0 tie with the Privateers going into the bottom of the fourth inning. That changed quickly when the 19-year old catcher Bengt Aarnoutse came to the plate. Aarnoutse hit a solo home run on a 1-2 cutter from Punta Cana hurler Yoshinobu Koumura. It was Aarnoutse's 21st home run of the year.

Aarnoutse told a Port Royal Observer reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
