The excitement in Kyoto is palpable as the local club has advanced through the Divisional.

The Kyoto Rodan downed the Grand Rapids Rafters 6-0 tonight at Grand Rapids Grounds, to take the series 4-1.

"Things are going to get crazy in Kyoto for the Championship. The fans are going to be behind us 100 percent, we know that," said Kenkichi Morita, who earned MVP honors.

"There's a lot of motivation in our clubhouse right now to make sure we give them something to cheer about."

For the series, Morita hit .400 with a .429 on-base percentage. He had 8 hits, 3 home runs, 7 RBI and scored 5 runs.

The Championship matchups and schedule will be announced after the Divisional finishes.
